The bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is used for the care, moisturising and cleansing of horses' airways – particularly when exposed to increased levels of dust, pollen and other environmental influences.
The isotonic ready-to-use solution, containing the natural stress-protection molecule bi-medEctoin®, provides lasting moisturising of the airways while also forming a water-based protective layer against pollen, dust, allergens and other external influences that may irritate the airways.
Thanks to its isotonic mixing ratio, bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is suitable for regular and long-term use. The ready-mixed solution is immediately ready to use, requires no further dilution, and is suitable for all common nebulisers.
From a regulatory perspective, bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is an animal care product and cannot replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment or therapy. It can, however, be used alongside veterinary care, in consultation with your vet.

The isotonic ready-mixed solution can be quickly and easily withdrawn and applied directly. No further dilution is necessary.
For withdrawal of the solution, we recommend using a needle or a spike through the silicone fitting in the lid.
Ectoine is a molecule of natural origin that has been intensively researched in clinical studies, with a wide range of applications, including in horses. It acts purely physically and is not metabolised. There are no known side effects or habituation effects.
The bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is applied as an aerosol using a nebuliser for horses. The solution is ready to use and can be nebulised without further dilution.
Ideally, use the fill volume of your nebuliser (10–50ml depending on the model) daily or as needed.
At the start, we recommend daily use for approximately 4 weeks. After this, use can be adjusted according to the horse's condition.
To maintain sterility, the solution should be withdrawn using a needle or a withdrawal aid through the silicone-sealed opening in the lid. We recommend only fully unscrewing the lid if you will use the entire solution within one day.
Once opened, the solution should be used within 30 days. You can note the date of first use directly in the field provided on the bottle.
Please note: this solution is an animal care product and should not be used as a carrier fluid for medication.
