Hypertonic ready-to-use solution for horses with severe mucus buildup.

bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete plus is used for the care, hydration, and cleansing of mucus-laden airways in horses with coughs, allergies, and equine asthma.

The brine solution with bi-medEctoin® supports your horse in case of stuck mucus. The natural stress protection molecule bi-medEctoin® moisturises the airways and forms a water-based protective layer against pollen, dust, allergens and other external influences that can further stress irritated airways.

In regulatory terms, LUNG Complete plus is an animal care product and cannot replace a diagnosis or treatment and therapy by a vet. However, it is suitable as a supportive measure for therapy - in consultation with the vet.

Produktinfos

Composition: Solution consisting of 3% brine and bi-medEctoin®. Ready-to-use solution, no dilution required.

Contens: 30 ampoules, each containing 5 ml of solution.

bi-medEctoin® is a clinically intensively researched molecule of natural origin with a wide range of applications, including in horses.

It has a purely physical effect and is not metabolised. There are no known side effects and no habituation effect.

Note:Do not use in cases of narrowed or constricted bronchi, absence of mucus, wheezing, or shortness of breath.

Anwendung

The hypertonic ready-to-use solution is recommended to actively support mucus clearance in cases of stuck and thick mucus.

You can use the solution undiluted and pour between 10 and 30 ml (depending on the filling volume of your nebuliser) directly into the nebuliser and nebulise. It should be used as a cure for a period of 2-3 weeks.

After that you can proceed with an isotonic solution such as our bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete for long-term moisturising and care.

Please note: The solution is suitable for supportive therapy but should not be used as a carrier fluid for medications!

Wie viel sollte ich von der LUNG Complete plus vernebeln?

Nutze täglich 10-30 ml der unverdünnten Lösung. Die Anwendung erfolgt kurweise über 1-3 Wochen.

Zu welcher Tageszeit soll ich LUNG Complete plus vernebeln?

Idealerweise vernebelst du die hypertone Fertiglösung vor der Bewegung. Wenn das Pferd nicht bewegt wird, kann im Anschluss zum Beispiel der Kopf zum absenken animiert werden (durch Massageübungen, Fressen vom Boden oder Grasen)
