Hypertonic ready-to-use solution for cleansing the airways.
bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete plus was developed specifically for horses whose airways are stressed by dust, dry air or other external influences and require extra support.

While the brine's osmotic effect helps support the airways' natural cleansing process, ectoine helps care for, protect and re-moisturise stressed mucous membranes.
The ready-to-use solution requires no further dilution. For an intensive care course, we recommend daily use over 2–3 weeks. After this, bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete (isotonic) is suitable for regular airway care.
Due to its hypertonic action, the product should not be used on horses with very sensitive mucous membranes. In this case, we recommend the products bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete or bi-medEctoin® easy breathe in an isotonic mixing ratio.
From a regulatory perspective, bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete plus is an animal care product and cannot replace veterinary diagnosis, treatment or therapy. It can, however, be used alongside veterinary care, in consultation with your vet.

Composition: Solution consisting of 3% brine and ectoine. Ready-to-use solution, does not need to be diluted.
Contents: 30 ampoules, each containing 5ml of solution

Ectoine is a molecule of natural origin that has been intensively researched in clinical studies, with a wide range of applications, including in horses.
It acts purely physically and is not metabolised. There are no known side effects or habituation effects.
Note: Do not use in horses with narrowed or constricted bronchi, absence of mucus, wheezing or respiratory distress.
The solution can be used undiluted. Depending on the fill volume of your nebuliser, 10 to 30 ml is added directly to the device and nebulised.
For an intensive care course, daily use over 2–3 weeks is recommended. After this, the isotonic bitopEQUI® LUNG Complete is suitable for long-term, everyday airway care as part of your stable routine.

Please note: the solution should not be used as a carrier fluid for medication, and should be nebulised separately.
