Isotonic saline solution 0.9%

We recommend the use of isotonic saline solution 0.9% for diluting our bi-medEctoin® easy breathe ampoules.

Isotonic saline solution 0.9% is one of the most widely used solution for inhalation therapy and is primarily used to moisturise the respiratory tract. Its salt content corresponds to that of the horse's body, which is why it can be used regularly and on a long-term basis.

If necessary, the isotonic saline solution can be used as a carrier for medication prescribed by the vet.

Sodium chloride: 9.0g,
Electrolytes,
Sodium: 154 mmol/l,
Chloride: 154 mmol/l

The 0.9% isotonic saline solution is ideal for mixing ourbi-med Ectoin® easy breathebefore nebulisation. You can find the different mixing ratios in our table.

When used individually for inhalation, it moisturises the airways and is a good supplement for moisturising and caring for the airways. It is also ideal for rinsing and cleaning inhalers and nebulisers.
