Isotonic saline solution 0.9%

The isotonic saline solution 0.9% provides an effective basis for inhalation therapy. With a salt content of 0.9%, it corresponds to the salt content of the horse's body and thus moistens the
mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. It also prevents the adhesion of foreign bodies, viruses and bacteria, strengthens the natural protective function
the mucous membranes and has slightly expectorant properties.

1000 ml infusion solution contains:
Sodium chloride: 9.0g,
Electrolytes,
Sodium: 154 mmol/l,
Chloride: 154 mmol/l

The 0.9% isotonic saline solution is ideal for mixing ourbi-med Ectoin® easy breathebefore nebulizing. You can find the different mixing ratios in our table.

When used alone for inhalation, it moistens the respiratory tract and is a good addition to moistening and caring for the mucous membranes. It is also ideal for rinsing and cleaning inhalers and nebulizers.
